Currently the undead version of Sir Lucan does not drop bone chips and should at least have a chance of dropping up to two. Additionally, Lashun Novashine appears to only path to and from the newbie yard and the monk guild house, but in classic he also frequented the Temple of Life.

After Lucan dies his Skeleton form spawns in his place. Finally when he hits the dirt he drops his testimony and two bone chips (woo hoo)

Lashun Novashine usually hangs out on the platform

It also appears that coin rewards were dispersed separately after each turn-in, or at least in the case of Bank Clerk Jaylin.
