Are you using Full Screen mode? You can try changing things to windowed and checking your resolution settings. In your main EQ directory is eqclient.ini you can open with a text editor and look for the following:
WindowedMode=TRUE [VideoMode] WindowedWidth=1920 WindowedHeight=1080 Width=1920 Height=1080 FullscreenBitsPerPixel=32 FullscreenRefreshRate=0 WidthWindowed=1920 HeightWindowed=1080
