but you buy them cheap thinking the stock is going to go up, then you sell someone the
option of buying the stock at the original price you bought the option for or someshit, it's more complicated than that something called a strike price, like you can bet the stock is going to go up but if it doesn't go up enough or goes up way past the price you predicted i think you lose. it's literally a fucking casino game.
