First things first; I do not know that they are necessarily all the same person. But the pattern of behavior is nearly identical.
What exactly is this person doing, assuming they're all the same? Are they trolling? Are they a child? Are they mentally handicapped? I can appreciate a good troll, but trolling is usually fun for the troll, and I don't see how it would actually be fun to do any of this for that reason. Hyphy wanted to buy a thing I was selling in EC. He sends me a tell and says he wants it and that he just has to grab plat, pretty standard thing no problem. The entire process ended up taking about an hour of him swapping to different toons and sending bizarre tells from those toons like "are you still selling item X?" even though we are literally in the process of the transaction. The sale did go through eventually, but why it took so long is a complete mystery. I asked him what was going on and he just kept saying he "had to get the plat", but we're talking about a 700p item (I think it was an earring of purity but I don't remember for sure, doesn't really matter). He farms and sells jboots mqs so he should have 700p on hand, one would assume. Nalamrie once invited my rogue to join her hand group in KC. I ooc'ed lfg, she replied almost instantly, I ran right up, and then proceeded to stand there watching them fight for about 10 minutes asking to be invited with /lfg on. There were only 5 total people including me. Nalamrie was running around casting spells so clearly not afk. She didn't respond to any of my tells for the invite, so I sent tells to the other group members and they were like "she's leader and ignoring everything we say". They proceeded to wipe, and I died in the process and Nalamrie logged off. Snackpacc once asked my druid for a port. I invited, he joined, he initiated a trade window with plat payment, I clicked accept. Only he never clicked accept on his end. I waited about five minutes assuming he had to emergency afk. Eventually I cancelled the trade and did other things, then about an hour later at HH he was still standing there facing the same direction he was at the beginning of the port exchange. I understand if somebody is a non-native english speaker, but that doesn't explain the actual behavior. It is a genuine mystery to me, on the order of randytrevor. I must know the answer to this riddle. | ||
