a pond sturgeon (Lake of Ill Omen) is not coded as an animal

Headed to Lake of Ill Omen to try some druid charming yesterday - and "a pond sturgeon" (in the pond near the FV zoneline) are not classified as animal -- Charm Animals returns This spell only works on animals.
