returning player. fresh install and trouble connecting.

greetings. I'm trying to get back into p1999 after a longish absence. I just installed a clean EQ titanium install and replaced all required files with the current project 1999 install files. For some reason it doesnt recognize my password. I have reset my password no fewer than 5 times already and no matter what it says incorrect password when I try to log in. login works just fine here on the forums just not within the application.

My pc is a ROG Ally running win11, all drivers and hardware are up to date. Ally is connected to a dock with an attached monitor, keyboard, and mouse that works flawlessly for every other installed game.

is there something I have missed or perhaps theres some wrinkle with win11 I am unaware of? ANY INSIGHT WOULD BE APPRECIATED! THANK YOU.
