Hello,
I am an avid Wiki user and I sometimes contribute a little bit. One thing that irks me is the inclination to use pictures of a character with the character name included to show an item's graphics. I get it: you're proud of your character and you want him to have all the glory he deserves for his heroics. Now, a wiki is supposed to be an encyclopedia and an encyclopedia is supposed to be neutral (not sure if its the best word, english isn't my first language). There is a place to say what character was the first to obtain this or that item, and I might be fine with (although I would not prefer) a picture of the first character to have obtained an item on a server used for the item's page. I know I can be a bit rigid sometimes, especially in things concerning knowledge. If the majority prefers to include names, I will be happy to accept that. Has there been a poll or something about the subject? I have no idea how to add a poll to a thread and Google has not been helpful. Thoughts? Opinions? Yes, I know I have a picture of Nadoom with its name in the wiki for the Arch Mage's Robe. I will change it ASAP. Cheers!
