Default TMO's Stance on Cheaters

With the recent suspensions of cheaters, I know that all guilds had at least a handful of people who were affected. After all the rumors I have seen about TMO, including trash talk and photoshopped forum posts, I am going to set the record straight. TMO does not tolerate cheating of any kind and will not make any exceptions for any member who is found to be partaking in such activities. Both guilds that I played with on Everquest live (The Mystical Order (Fennin Ro) / Clan Ta'Veren (Terris Thule)) held this stance; we stuck to our guns and had zero tolerance when it came to cheaters. I have personally removed all members of TMO who I know to have been caught in this last patch. It is a hard decision to make because some of these people are our friends who we did not expect this from. I know it must be tough for other guilds, even some with their leadership suspended. As sad as it is to see these people go, it must be done. For those interested, as of now, I have removed 1 applicant and 3 members; if that is not everyone who was suspended, then I will find you within 2 weeks. Any members/applicants who are exonerated, such as Webwolf will be given an apology and will be reinstated. I do hope other guilds take the high road and follow this approach.

I am glad that the server staff took the measures necessary to get rid of these people. It promotes fair competition. I know many people who have come back to the server because of the action that was taken. It is giving hope to those who have known about how rampant this problem was up until now.

Regards,

Zeelot
