Did you not play live? There was a MASSIVE difference between Vanilla + Kunark + Velious and the luclin shift towards coddling casuals (did you not ever level a noob in paludal?).
Sure, there were good zones, but none of them made any sense to the lore of Everquest without the massive shift to the moon furry paradigm.
