Only one question, are the WoW spell/gem icons forced? Or is that just some custom thing you did for yourself?

You can just delete the following files from the UI folder and it will load the defaults:

gemicons01.tga
gemicons02.tga
gemicons03.tga
spells01.tga
spells02.tga
spells03.tga
spells04.tga
spells05.tga
spells06.tga
spells07.tga
