Default Query

Hi All

I am tempted to have a go at project 1999. But I have a few questions first if that is ok!

I played EQ from '00 (Kunark) to 2006 ish (DoD). And since played WoW etc.

What I miss most about EQ is chatting to people. You can't do that in modern MMO's as you are too busy spamming skills. And nowadays in WoW if you even try talking to people they just ignore you.

Anyway!

I was wondering if there is much of a 'community' on the blue server. I notice there are around 150 ppl online atm, which isn't many, but would also be plenty if you all get along and play together.

Are there many guilds, or too many guilds? Like in WoW you'd have '000s of guilds with <10 players online. Surely it would be better to have 100 guilds with 100 people online..

When is Velious due? This was my favorite expansion hands down and it would be great to come back and level to 50 before this expansion. Did the lvl cap raise to 60 with SoV or was that Luclin?

Is the levelling rate like it was during Vanilla (hell levels etc)? I don't know that I have time now to invest like I did when I was young and free.

I could probably find this out by searching, but I'm too lazy. Is the server EU or US? Are there many EU players on at EU prime time? Are there players from all over Europe. This is another thing I missed in WoW. Blizzard wants every country playing on their own server. Which might be great for pings but I miss playing with the Mighty Danes and Swedish (and others).

Lastly, what classes are most in need? Happy to heal if necessary...

Cheers
Ryan
