I was in the same situation a couple years ago. My brother and I after trying a few different combinations finally decided on druid + mage. My brother was able to farm up his focus items at lvl 12 and we killed very very well. But anyways, I would definitely suggest either druid +mage(with mage focus items) or shaman + monk.
