I couldn't find a write up on the web so the following is from current Live EQ.

Once you are ready to begin your training please make sure that you come back to see me after collecting your initial supplies! I have many things to teach you that you would benefit from, from furthering your knowledge of our arts, to the various [trades] you will have available to you.'

As a small difference on Live, the turn in item is labelled "Note" and not "A note". Also, the portion about the [trades] leads to this text from a neighbouring NPC named Morlan Tanlonikan. I didn't investigate this to see what era it came from or what the quest is.
