It was always my impression that RZ and SZ had the worst PvPers (in general), for various reasons.

Most RZ players had less experience with pvp because they were mostly an anti server (not that there's anything wrong with that!), and whenever pvp actually began they all started bagging gear instead of fighting.

SZ players just trained, from what I understand. Basically blue server pvp. Either that or high levels going after low levels, and evil team vastly outgearing the others. Kind of like here, Nihilum might have some really great pvpers, but they can't ever be recognized as such because of their gear advantage.

But I never understood the pissing contest anyway. You can't win an MMO, and each Zek server was awesome and unique in their own ways [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Sullon Zek was the most hardcore pvp server because there were no pvp brackets and no rules. Its the best pvp experience because it fit the world of eq. You could be 15 in Oasis and get destroyed by a level 40 sand giant, or wander into the wrong town to be killed by guards instantly.

In a way though because you could be killed by a level 60, at any time, it caused the teams to really work together to help eachother to survive. Level 60s would actually come help out people leveling and protect zones and buff people to help their team.

Having three teams meant you had enemys and allies. Having allies when you start is important. It was almost like gang warfare and turf warfare, certian team groups would be in certian areas closer to their towns, it made the town you banked in matter.

IMO the main problem was splitting classes. From the begining good and neutral teams had the ranger and druid class and the evil team had necromacers and shadowknights.

SKs and Necros are arguably better in pvp then druid and ranger and definately better in pve so therefore evil thrived at pve and got the upper hand around kunark time.
