Semi-Twinking a Shaman

I am going to be creating a Troll/Ogre Shaman tonight and I have a good amount of money to spend on gear/items.

I have about 50k that I am going to spend on his gear.

Any suggestions on the type of gear that would be most beneficial for leveling solo and in groups when I am bored? I know a nice weapon will be good to have, any suggestions?
