edit: Also I would add that Kazmeir does not feel overpowered at all in comparison to my other characters. That might change if I managed to get him an epic perhaps.

I agree, perhaps if pet aggro was somehow fixed, mages might be a tad OP. Fixing earth pet root to be casted more often might help with CC too.
Epic pet is a different story. I too hope I manage to get one before my time ends on P99.
