I do find it fairly humorous that you weighed in on a thread on 7.27.13 stating all multi-boxers should be permanently IP banned. Shall we dig into why you were weighing in on that conversation when you apparently don't know how IP governing works on p99?

This is, in fact, somewhat fishy. Not sure if anyone caught this post, but if its true (im far too lazy to check) this is highly suspect, as OP claimed to not know anything about ip exemptions.

Like ele said though, you need to make a post in the sub forum, and you need to follow the directions to the letter in order to get your exemption.

This is to prevent people from 2-boxing. I kno it may seem like a hassle, but it greatly reduces the amount of people 2-boxing or more. And boxing like that can b really bad for the server.

All that being said, it would have been really easy for you to use the search function. That way, you wouldn't have even had to wait for a reponse, you would have had your answer right away!

Lastly, if you are just trying to get an exemption so that you can 2-box (ie, you arent actually playing with a friend, you just want to play 2 chars), you will get caught, lol.

I like to think my post was both informative, polite, and had every intention to protect YOU, the OP, from getting in trouble OR having your account messed with. And i agree with most of the people in this thread, you were rude to me in your reply. I suggested (nicely, might I add) that you use the search function before asking your question. We as a community have no problem answering questions for noobies, hell, myself and just a couple other people handle the majority of the tech questions asked in the tech discussion boards, so we are helping the community to play p99 literally all day long, every day. You'll find the people here are incredibly helpful, if you're willing to help yourself. Many, many, many people have asked how to go about getting an ip exemption, and the question has been answered over and over and over. If you'd like help, the least you can do is help yourself! Search is easy to use, fast, and it saves everyone time. Please use it in the future!

As far as 2boxing goes, I never accused you of 2boxing. You seem to not know much about how and why ip exemption work/are in place, so it seemed prudent to let you know that if you abuse it you will be banned. If you want to take offense to that, feel free, but it really just makes you look like an ass.

Thanks to everyone who had my back on this one, i do appreciate it, though in the future keep in mind that I am able to take care of myself in these situations, and in general its best to just leave these kinds of things alone. If someone wants to be arrogant/an asshole, thats their choice and usually they will quickly find out how far that gets them on this server (pretty far in some cases).

All that being said, lets drop this thread now that everything has been addressed and get back to playing p99. Good luck with your ip exemption, and please remember to be more polite next time (everyone!). I'll take your 'thanks all' to mean myself as well.
