Protection of the Glade and Spirit of Oak dont stack?

I just got my Spirit of Oak spell on a whim today and started fooling around with it. I noticed that it doesn't stack with Protection of the Nine and Protection of the Cabbage.

Strangely, it stacks with Natureskin and the rest of the Skin of ____ line of spells.

After puzzling at it for a while, I realized that Pot9, PotC, Spirit of Oak all has a mana regen component. Is that why they are not stacking?

Stranger yet, Mask of the Stalker has mana regen but can stack with Spirit of Oak. If its not mana regen that stops Spirit of Oak from stacking with Pot9 or PotC, what is?

This guy is stupid. But our skin line (PotGrove) mana regen is same slot as spirit of oak. And it will not stack. The HP regen on each is different slot and stacks. Which is why SLN stacks with it.

Mask is different slot and stacks as well.

Tl;dr - Spirit of Oak is useless once we get PotG.
