Necro Soloing: The Hole

Short of poaching named NPCs, soloing in the ghost area of the Hole.

Some of the withered leather pieces are worth a good amount, but the majority of the drops are garbage. The area is very dangerous due to the fact that most of the NPCs summon, it is highly congested with NPCs, and many of the NPCs are 49+ necromancers. This means, you'll have to have cure potions for yourself, your pet is going to be dotted on recharming, and revenants are stun immune.

You're best off using a level 45 Fallen Erudite as a pet from the catacombs.

As far as the Hole itself. The live portion is a great solo area for both cash and exp. There's a solo rock-named ph spawn in the initial pit drop off. If you're lucky, you can get a few pieces of loam in the time spent there.
