For the assist macro, i'd make it an actual name, IE:

/assist Thetank

Remember to make your drag corpse macro so you can loot your body at a safe(r) location:

/corpse

Then there's the pull macro:

/gsay Incoming %T!

I also recommend binding sense heading to about everything you can until its maxed (200). I know this isn't completely classic and maps do exist, but sense heading + memorization of landmarks is the classic way to do things.

For bards specifically, I know some like to make 2 line macros:

/stopsong
/cast 1

So you can start the next song immediately after the first with only 1 button press. However, I personally prefer to double tap to stop the previous song and start the next one.
