Sense of "entitlement or greed"? You're saying I'm greedy for feeling he should share the camp after holding it for, again, over 12 hours and getting the AC spawn? from what the other people who have been waiting longer than myself, said it's been more like 18.
I'm really just playing devil's advocate out of curiosity here, but I was wondering if there was a logical reason for your thinking that he should leave. Something beyond "I want it and he's already there so he should leave."

And what do you mean by "handing it off to friend after friend?" As in him playing at his home and having friends or a brother or something take over the camp for him so he can get some sleep? Yes, I would have a problem with that.
What I mean is that a person can hand a camp over to whomever they like. So instead of his friends coming to loot them, he gets a ring and then his friend shows up to take the camp. That friend gets a ring and a third friend shows up to take the camp. Then a fourth, then a fifth, and so on. A private list that you don't get to be on, basically. Would there be any difference to you?

"Something else important to note about handing off camps - in particular, popular ones, but this applies to any camp that becomes contested. If you are solo camping, once you attain the item you were waiting for (an AC ring, for example) you are done camping that mob."

Also

"The person holding the camp cannot mislead you, or change his mind after telling you who is next. Something that no one ever does (and I will never understand why) is to specifically address the camp holder, asking who is next or if you can be next. The camp holder does need to reveal to you who the next intended camp holder is - if he doesn't, you may ask to be next and your claim will be valid unless he reveals the next person immediately. This person cannot change after the camp holder has "revealed" the next person to take the camp to you. "

So does this get around this rule? Seems like it shouldn't. On the first he had a friend loot the object for him which seems to get around the rule and on the second, He never handed off the camp per say, even though he told the next person in the list that he was next.. Even though he started asking friends to come in to loot the ring.

Tenlarr, I think I made my point rather clearly.

On top of which, based on Wenuven said, it sounds like he skirted the rules by not looting the object himself and calling in friends to loot it. But it still broke the spirit of the rules.

I got a silly question.

Did you sit there for 12 hrs, not leaving, waiting for your turn? Or did you keep leaving and coming back?

I think it violates the spirit of the rule. petitionquest time, unfortunately. OR you could go find something else to do.

Use /petition or the Petition forum.

Posting here to debate the rules, is pointless. Either it was violation or not. I dont know. But this goes in to Rule Lawyer Questing or just plain ole Forum Questing.

Imagine people that play a video game with the express intent to not be dicknoses to each other, thus invalidating the need to ForumQuest.

Fucking crazy, I know.

While he seems a bit greedy and rude ...

Still,

"people are forced to wait"

I don't get this .. you can do whatever you want eh? I mean just ask the dude straight up are you going to give up the camp after next AC? If he says yes take a screenshot and then maybe you got something if he says no move along maybe since you are probably not forced to get jboots or PP today.

To quote the lame, "Just say'n bro."
