Anyone have a new wineskin link for Yosemite? I did the full setup with the link from phobus but as people mentioned it doesn't seem to work on Yosemite. It seems like all the more recent links are dead now [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Hi All,

I am having the following "problem", which seems to me is my inability to see something simple: I can run EQ excellently given that it's the first run following the steps provided on the first page. However, after quitting the program (Project 1999 via the Applications Menu), it will bounce in my dock when I try to start it again until the application no longer responds (and requires a "force quit").

Things I've Tried
(1) Killing All Wine Processes
(2) Restarting the Computer

Again, everything is working great. Indeed, I can even make things work again if I unzip the Project 1999 wineskine and copy/paste the EverQuest folder back with my current settings into the freshly unzipped skin. I merely wish I could run the program a second and third time without repeating all the initial steps.

Thanks in advance for any help.
I am having this same issue. Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?

Followed Babaayaga's guide on pg.29. Worked like a charm without any hitches. Thanks!

Okay, I finally have EQ installed and launching after 3 days and a combination of methods suggested by different people.

Now I'm crashing on the character select screen when I try to log in to game. Any suggestions as to what is causing this?
