This may be out of place, but have you considered a "tutorial" starting room? After creating character, you pop up in a little house with one mob in. You hail it and it goes over the p99-specific rules. The big, conduct stuff. Then they can say a phrase ("I will not take out a second mortgage to buy a pre-nerf fungi staff") to drop into the typical starting area. If you think new players are the most common prey, it may help. Yes, I stole this idea from Shards of Dalaya.

Its an idea, but I dont think you will ever stop them. This has been a problem since UO times and will probly be an issue for mmo devs time immaterial.

The problem is Capitalism folks. As long as we live in our hedonistic Capitalist ways people will always want to use their greed to oppress you. We are the 1%!!!!

It's pretty hilarious that people actually think they're going to get caught up in a banwave for accepting 500pp in dirty money.

The bottom line is if you get caught up in an RMT banwave, you did something with an RMTer. That doesn't mean you're guilty; it just means you did something with an RMTer. If you're innocent, it will be extremely easy to prove your innocence.

If you're innocent and you bitch and complain and piss and moan about it in the petition forum, I hope you get bumped way down to the bottom of the list and you don't get your account back for a very long time.

And why do you think anyone cares what your opinion on the matter is?
