Client Says "DB Error - Invalid Password" ...But,
As the title says, I am currently having issues logging in through the client. It constantly tells me that I have an invalid password. I know I'm not crazy.
I made sure caps lock was off. I meticulously made sure every character was put in correctly several times. Maybe because this account is too new? I'm not sure how it works with you guys. I've even gone through the process of changing my password to something else and then trying that. Before you ask, no, the game was not patched in any way. I followed the beginner guide to the T. I'm willing to bet this will be one of those simple solution things that will make me look/feel like an idiot. I'm including a screenshot for whatever reason. [You must be logged in to view images. where did you make your account?
My assumption is that you're trying to login using your project1999 forum account, which wont work. go to eqemulator.net, create a forum account there, and then that gives you the ability to create 3 LoginServer accounts under that forum account. Once you have a LoginServer account created, use that to login.

EQemulator did work. I had an old account from 2014.
So, I went through the process of verifying my account via SMS. Blahblahblah LoginAccount Blahblahblah tested it ingame: Worked Thanks. Thought I only needed a forum account for Project1999. FYI you can use the P99 site to create your LS accounts. Link is on the left hand side of project1999.com: http://www.project1999.com/account/?LS That way it is related to your P99 forum account. I believe you can also migrate eqemu LS accounts to your P99 forum account. its been awhile since ive done it but it worked when I did.

creating accounts on p99 site with intention to login to the server & play appears to cause more issues (like OP) than it helps. So take your ideas elsewhere!
