As a player I can see how its got to be hard to keep illegal transactions from veiling themselves as cross-server transfers.
As an economist I can see how allowing this will always hurt one economy at the expense of another. They should be completely independent from outside sources or you are asking from trouble.

I enjoyed trading accounts it was a fun thing to do
I enjoyed helping bluebies come over with a few K pp on red in exchange for some plat on blue Too bad RMT makes stuff suck so bad. Maybe make an actual official way to do these kinds of transfers. Like a cross server shared bank kind of situation.

I don't understand what the issue of blue plat > red plat transfers was..
Someone care to explain for me why allowing them was sooo evil?

This change is very simply removing the games the GMs/Guides have to go through to figure out if this was just a server transfer or RMT. And truth is, even though Red and Blue are run by the same team, they are two entirely different servers. The GMs have already stated trading EQ stuff for stuff on other servers/games isn't allowed, so this change just simplifies everything. Trade stuff on blue for stuff on blue. Trade stuff on red for stuff on red.

I felt like red -blue transfers created a loophole in the no 2 boxing rule, as you could farm stuff on both servers and transfer for gain all on one server. Good change IMO

Why does it matter if I exchange Red plat for Blue plat? If you guys are going to ban this, then you need to ban MQing. I cannot play the 20 hours per day that everyone else does. Being able to farm red plat and get 3x the plat for blue helped me at least buy things that I don't have the time to sit there and farm. This is micromanaging. This never hurt anyone, and I never made RL money off this. All that server exchange does is help us.
I can't farm a cleric epic because everyone else is already doing it to sell the stupid MQ, and now you guys just took away the best way for me to make plat so I can buy it off these hardcore players. Please reconsider allowing the red to blue plat exchanges.

I started on red with nothing but a newb tunic and for along time I saw bluebies moving tons of plat to red to get a jump start or liquidate assets to there new home. Not classic and isn't fair to those of us that started from the bottom.
