Reaver for an SK weapon

Hey I am wondering if this makes a good weapon for killing guards/giants. I have a sash of dragonborn for haste and about 160ish str atm. Also I am lvl 41 and a DE. TY

Reaver is a pretty shitty weapon in general due to it not being magic flagged

Equisite Velium 2hds(32 dmg 36 delay) is a nice weapon for sk. Or go oggok cleaver, but that thing is slow.

I like my reaver, personally. But it's mildly annoying to have to carry around a backup magic weapon for when it doesn't work. That having been said, it works on most things and hits really hard when it does. Hard to beat that 40/40.

I hear this a lot, but it isn't true. I have the earring and I always have the grim aura buff on, and there are things that are invulnerable to my reaver. Not sure where this story started.

Can confirm

Tested this a few months back with both spell grim aura, and clicky grim aura and was unable to hit a willowisp =(
