Well my seller said they will get me the missing discs. So now I await those. I'll let you know how that progresses.

I'm not interested in torrenting them. We have actually had a number of torrenters who have had their internet shut off by the ISP. And since we currently only have ONE ISP available... I don't want to take the chance.
You do realize you are legally allowed to download everquest if you bought it in the past right?

Thulak - Yes, I do. And thank you for the reminder! But I never bought Titanium in the past. :-/

Casey - I am not rich, so I guess I'm insane! :-D

Wooptie - The seller said they must have forgotten, and they are on their way. Lord knows I've made similar mistakes already in my own life. I'll see what happens.

Install peerblock and your ISP can't trace your torrenting habits for the most part.
On the topic of interweb swashbuckling, I can pretty much guarantee you your ISP doesn't even care that you're torrenting. It's a pretty common misconception that ISPs actually pay attention to their customers' downloading habits - they don't. It would be practically impossible to based on the sheer volume of data alone.

Big companies - mostly television and film production companies like HBO and Paramount - hire experts like IP Echelon to monitor the traffic on infringing torrents, who basically just pull IP addresses out of the swarm and then send them to their respective ISPs in the form of a formal complaint on behalf of the company that hired them. Based on that information, the ISP then decides whether to take action, which usually takes the form of a typical cease and desist letter following a suspension of your service.

Think of it like three different entities: the company getting screwed over (HBO/Paramount), the middleman (IP Echelon), and the service doing the infringing (your ISP). Even if you're a repeat offender, your ISP is just going to drop you from their service after receiving too many complaints from the middleman before they start monitoring your downloading patterns to figure out if you're torrenting or not.

Got the last disc, installed flawlessly. I'll have those up for resale again in not too long on ebay.

And we have the installations working no problem. I also had a short time where I couldn't log in, and that seems to be cleared up now.

OK this set of discs will be for sale again on ebay in the next few days. Seller will be sajoecollins, asking $50 + S&H. The prior seller did burn a copy of Disc 3, and the 5 disc set installs flawlessly. It installed for me on multiple systems with zero issues. This will be a flawless sale for the next person who wants to get real discs, like I did.

I hope this helps some of the folks out there!

I was hoping to help folks find an affordable set of proven, working installation discs via this thread. Maybe a handful of threads could help new players buy their discs, use them, and then re-sell them when done. This way we can have a handful of new discs moving around that we KNOW work, and the costs can simply break even as the discs are sold again.

Not so much a library... or a sale here on the forum... but a loose tracking or library of them... Just as a service for new players.
