For that little run. You need a much larger sample size to conclude drop rate.

I can sell you one. Really good deal.

35k. They are extremely rare and due to an upcoming market trend will skyrocket in price, so you should buy now.

i've mostly observed a classic common versus rare drop rate, so 5-6 legs per one cloak. but as it goes, it can swing wildly. Not uncommon to see 10-12 legs in a row. my record is 19 legs...that was a bad day =p.

last night we got two quills inside of 10 minutes and second one had the cloak. /shrug but the important thing is grats on your cloak sir.

It took 21 Quills for a TMO guildie and myself to get our cloaks. I still have nightmares and my ranger has never returned to SK.

While camping the gnoll spires near the splitpaw entrance in SK, Quillmane wandered by my Ranger. Killed her without much of a fight and she dropped the cloak. No waiting, no camping, no tracking. I figured it must not be that hard to get.

In my experience it is about a 20% drop and you can probably find a quillmane every 15-25 minutes, providing you are attentive and people aren't sniping.
