I regret giving them a view. That was a terrible article. Out-of-era EQ picture, no mention of the LONG history of Project 1999 and years of work by the staff (and some players) to reach this point, the existence of blue (or red, lol), quotes from excited players looking forward to the launch, etc.

They didn't need to write a "this'll be so amazing, you have to play it!" article, but not AT LEAST mentioning how blue has been running for a decade as a work in progress while dedicated staff and other volunteers worked to reverse engineer the classic mechanics makes it a shit piece of writing.
