Neckbeards are most likely not the ones complaining about recharging... rather the casuals who can't afford it or want to have a slightly more competitive raid scene since they can't get the recharge items they want everyone on equal (risky) ground not using them.

Today is official "Neckbeard Day", the day the term was added to Urban Dictionary with the definition we use here today.
