i used to top leaderboards with ENC you just charm a merchant bury the charm deep in their buffs and sick them on people who port in

Ya that’s what I mean about situational. Like in straight combat you can dispel dump the NPC and the enchanter now has aggro so he can decide to CC his pet which disables it as a threat to him temporarily, but leaving it a threat, at which point he can try to actually damage you or just run away because if you’re geared and buffed he doesn’t have a spell that can land in your unless he casts c2 and asks you for a port and pretends he wasn’t trying to massacre you with a buffed mob.
But if you’re on a squad and you are in a place worth going like you’re camping fungi your team can support you and get enemies into positions where your buffed NPC is able to get to them quicker than they can react. So it depends if you got a squad of an SK and a Bard and an enchanter the enchanter can get all the kills. But if you’re the enchanter fighting alone against geared people, sounds like a loss. But I dunno I don’t play | ||
