Isnt that shocking? The commander and chief said "yeah, protect the rioters, the criminals, and the violent people." over protecting the people doing their jobs in that building.

I guess nobody can tell you "this is kind of a big deal". The guy whos in charge of the military said "use it on the police and anyone resisting the wave of violent criminals".
