Had to wake up at 530 AM on a saturday to get the project I'm in Zürich for finished, but got it done. Then got a wee bit of touristing in around old town before eating myself silly on Zürcher Geschnetzeltes (Zürich style veal with mushroom gravy and hash brown potatoes) and multiple mass size (one liter) mugs of beer. Food coma time.

Got an ultrasound to figure out if the 2 lumps on my neck are either swollen lymph nodes or cancer. 99% chance swollen lymph nodes. I get the results tomorrow

I said to the cute ultrasound tech doing the procedure “if it’s a baby, don’t tell me the gender, I want it to be a surprise”. She laughed

Edit: still doing my run/hike/run. Rain or shine, sickness or in health. 80% of being a champion is just showing up (but I was also still the fastest of the 100+ people on the trail yesterday, about to see about today)

I had like four swollen lymph nodes in my neck for like fifteen years that just spontaneously went away one day. They appeared when I had strep throat, but then just never went away for years. Turned out to be totally fine. They were freaky though I was worried.

i had wierd swolen nodes under my arms last week, they seem better now tho

I feel like that's an accurate if not a bit heartless of a statement. Sometimes my memory and learning struggles or reading and math problems get me down. I do find filling out paperwork and writing to be a real struggle. However I also know that my perception and intuition is really good. And I have had the strength to overcome a lot of my shortcomings and even do incredible feets of athletics. I am very clever. And mindful. In tune with my environment. I have a little bit of precognission. So like I feel like I'm not completely worthless. 100% yeah I feel really bad I don't fit in or really have a place in modern society. And illness has crippled and taken my athletic endurance and strength from me. You're not wrong. However I don't feel like you much care for the bigger picture with me. Also I respect that. I don't need or want your love. It's nice. I will never require it from you though. I want you to have free will and to express yourself fully. However you need to. Yes, I'm a little hurt. I can deal with it though. I'm at your mercy anyway mostly. And ya, I wish I was stronger, less helpless and able to lead by example better in the present. Even though I feel sorta stuck in the past. I do want admiration. Again though I don't want it just because. Like fake admiration sucks.

Sometimes I even proofread it and sometimes just two or three times in a daze like wondering how I wrote something so beautiful.
