What are the different storage options available in space stations?

There are many different storage options available in space stations. Some of these options include:
  • storage lockers
  • storage racks
  • storage cabinets

How about hooks? No one mentions hooks. You put them on the hooks, maybe a drain pan underneath to catch the...uh...fluids.

What about space station storage space organizers? Why does everyone think you can just pile things into a 24"x18"x72" locker and expect to be able to find anything? I wanna know: will there or will there not be shelves included with the lockers?

Oh shit, I didn't take 'space stations' literally.

Ok, I still stand with my hooks idea, but ideally arranged on chains from a spinning disk so the centripetal force allows the fluids to discharge into a circular trough that spans the entire room. Like a Merry Go Round except with hooks. And I guess really fast too, for that thorough extraction.

This sounds less a storage solution and more like a really fun ride!
