I run by those things after hammer bro’ing to bank and they seem up a decent amount. Maybe that’s when people are lawyering over who gets them

By the rules, you aren't camping if you aren't clearing the mobs and leaving the zone forfeits the camp.

That being said, i logged into an open Pained Soul camp the other day and killed PH. Halfway through spawn a Riot wizard logged in who said he ended up having to reboot but had been there for awhile. My response was "GL on spawn" and I logged. Try not to be an asshole and your efforts might not see so much resistance.
