Sir Edwin Motte
In the Mountains of Rathe. The NPC placeholders aren't de-spawning as they should. Instead you have to kill them and wait the full spawn time of the zone for the next to spawn.

I have done some work with this that is pending, but there is an outstanding question that could use more input or research.
What should be the respawn cycle timer, if the npcs are not killed? On live, the npcs cycle every 40 seconds which seems extremely fast.

Thanks for the reply. I believe it would depend on the odds of him spawning. I killed the NPCs for approximately 5 hours and never spawned him. That seems out of balance. If he has a 3% chance of spawning... then 45 sec. respawn for most of the npcs and 1 to 3 min for a couple of them doesn't seem out of bounds. Should on average take about as long as completing the first "real" step of any other epic I'd think.

I was referring to the content of your bug report, not specifically about the title.
Sir Edwin Motte spawns in several places across Norrath, but Rathe Mountains is not currently one of them. This particular spawn point/placeholder cycle is undeveloped and is missing 8 npcs that should have a chance of spawning, Motte included.

Well, that is unfortunate. Are any of his other spawn points undeveloped as well?

You shouldn't have trouble finding Sir Motte in other locations.
This spawn cycle and related npcs has led to some interesting results that should be in next patch.
