Game Mechanics: Ranger+ATK = DC

I’m experiencing an issue that appears to be isolated to my Ranger. I can log into the character normally and move around without any problems, but the moment I initiate any form of attack, the client crashes. I attempted re-downloading the patch files, but the issue persists. At first I suspected it might be related to my Venomous Axe proc, but the crash occurs regardless of the weapon equipped.

Previously, I couldn’t even log into the character without an immediate crash, so an officer relocated my Ranger from FOB to EC, which allowed me to log in successfully. However, the attack-related crashes remain.

Has there been any similar issue reported in the past, or is there any guidance on how to resolve this?

Your logs folder should include a debug file called dbg. Do the crash and then look at that file see if it says anything?

It is probably a ui/character file issue I’d guess. Maybe a hotkey tied to your autoattack button.

Have you made a Chat window for combat (or any window) really small? This will crash the client anytime it tries to write to a window thats too small for text

May be a sound file issue potentially, try disabling auto attack music in your preferences?
