I'm with Ames on this one.

D3 is going to probably be pretty amazing. The AH is just going to legitimize the illegal account, item, etc. sales that have ALWAYS existed on Diablo 2.

It also enacts a GREAT way to monitor potential dupe outbreaks through sales and sudden statistical explosions of certain items spreading, etc. Overall, I think the AH is a good idea and I was originally turned off by it until I gave it more thought.
