Cleric best of the best went as follows:
there were 2 gm played ogres with the same gear rooted in place within melee range of eachother. one was red one was blue. when the match start both just hit attack and dont do anything else. If either the cleric or their ogre died they lost the match. the 30 second buff time was kinda tricky because you have to buff yourself and your ogre. for all matches not just cleric there were rules for everyone in the areana like if anyone casts any spells or says somthing in a public channel like say shout or oot they would get suspended because it can get in the way of the matches.

On Brell I was the favorite to win the wizzie botb, and then lost in the first round because I fizzled manaskin like 5 times in a row during the buffing period. woot.

Most used epic and ES arms. Although if you wanted to win you didn't click on your epic.

I can't see why it would have been different for any other classes, unless the druid botb was earlier than the paladin botb, and the organisers at some point decided that right click items weren't allowed.

Why would right click items be such a bad idea?

Cause there are like 200 different right click items that people could stock up on
