There is no change in scale".[12] As of October 2024, Saudi Arabia intends to complete a 5 km (3.1 mi) central segment of The Line by 2030, while completion of the full 170 km (110 mi) project has been pushed to 2045.

In the US though, because we wouldn't be building in the Empty Quarter but in National Parks, it would probably work pretty well.

There's very little room for eminent domain counterclaims when it's federal land to begin with.

I would move to a federal city if they built one nearby. Probably a better deal to pay rent to America than some rando land owning parasite class property 'owner'.
