Playa Hermosa -- right near Jaco.

Lived in FL for ~ 25 years, never tried surfing -- I always assumed the waves were too small where I lived and I was too busy skate boarding I guess... haha. I caught my first wave my first try and was hooked..

The surfing 'instructor' brought me a long board.. he said he would've brought me a normal surf board knowing I had skate boarding / snow boarding experience, but it was still awesome.

I'll be back ASAP.. Costa Rica is amazing and super cheap.

We stayed at this Eco-lodge owned by Americans and our driver/guide was this awesome older dude from Montreal who lived in Montreal half the year and worked at the lodge the other half.

I'd post some pics if anyone wants to see, I don't want to shit up the Forum Quest recruitment anymore than I already have with non elf-sim talk...
