you are right, brain rot is real.

Holocaust has been trying to promote a casual but competitive atmosphere. Azrael so far is pushing a competitive and hardcore atmosphere. Both like the idea of playing with low numbers (this hasn't been tested yet so we will see when real competition happens).

The issue is Azrael will log there 30 members in at anytime, no matter the time of day, while Holocaust currently will not do this. Some of the same ideas are overlapping but Holocaust wants Azrael to agree to their casual game play and Azrael is refusing. Neither is in the wrong, but as of now these two guilds aren't going to provide a fun atmosphere unless Azrael chills out or Holocaust steps it up.

It may not be possible for Holocaust to step it up because it appears they have too many players that aren't willing to put in 30+ hours a week. (This is why Colgate said he can produce 30 on Sunday if you would like, but then during the week they may have 45 since casuals are sporadic).

Lite is basically saying can't this server provide 30 people that want to play as hardcore as me and my 29 friends do? Well the answer is not at the moment and Holocaust at its core doesn't want to play the game like this.

You will need to wait for one of these starter guilds to compete and that can easily turn into the same atmosphere we saw with Nihilum. Where the top players are recruited into Azrael to replace Azrael players that get geared and stop logging in while the smaller developing guilds bleed their top players because they leave for Azrael.

Honestly if they held or even barely held a guild together as Nihilum's #2 competition for a year+ I really don't have a problem with them doing that for a while.

I really hope I get to "revenge gear" my epic that I have been cock blocked for 2 years from getting by Toxihilum while experiencing end-game content I was also cock block for 2 years from seeing all in the name of revenge and not in the name of experiencing end game EverQuest I never got to do up to this point due to the toxic players that are now boo hooing on the forums.
