I got out 6 years ago and went to work for oil companies as a hydraulic service tech. After a year I took a pay cut to do material management instead, I'm pretty much a jack of all trades for offshore rigs now. Hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical and electronic troubleshooting; Safety, computers, IT, I do it all =P I'm taking a 1 year vacation at the moment though, screwing around in South America

I work for staples. every day I save the city of Mansfield from all its technology woes, but only windows based systems haha. I also sell electronics. Pretty avg. job but were doing really well in sales recently and our store is taking off which is pretty cool.
If youre gonna do something mediocre, might as well be badass at it haha.

I'm technically still a college student, so you could say research is my full time job. I do ethnographic research on ethnic issues in contemporary China. Travelling back and forth between the US and China for research, I get the chance to do various jobs along the way: Freelance translation, teaching, freelance photography, doing the voice for English textbook supplemental audio. Currently I work with an adult literacy center helping folks with their English skills and GED prep.
Photo from one of my favorite jobs, farming in Guangdong, China! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] (By the way -- All but one of those little guys is raised for meat... not quite what you expected, eh?)
