Quite true, Norrath is full of in-game racism. While I despise racism in real life, I think the hostility of Norrath makes it more fun, because it’s only a game. It’s fun to talk about punting Gnomes, or eating Halflings, or call Dark Elves blueberries, because we all know it’s not real and no one’s getting hurt.

That’s one reason I like the premise of <DMO>. The in-game lore of Erudites is that they are mostly stuck-up, snobby, and overly proud; and that they look down on the other races of Norrath. It makes sense that they would form an exclusive Erudite-only guild.

I don’t see that Dwarf-only guild around anymore. It’s too bad.
