It's also important to remember that not all extremes are created equal.

Like I agree that saying you can't kill a one day old embryo is extreme, but what is the worst consequence of that, assuming it is a healthy normal pregnancy? The mother of the child is burdened until it is born, at which point she is free to put it up for adoption.

The opposite extreme (allowing abortion up to the moment of delivery, and occasionally even immediately after), results in outright murder. I would call that the worse of the two extremes.

It is literally population control and eugenics AT BEST... trying to give a child a better life by aborting it if it wont? That is literally eugenics.

No but that does not mean they arnt performing the most horrendous acts of eugenics on a personal scale (through millions of citizens millions of times) when they decide to kill their "clump of cells" because the guy they banged was not the best father material.

Or maybe they were too poor for birth control but have sex like normal people? I neither know the reason nor support the immoral action of having an abortion, but it is a right that many normal (not murders, not eugenics supporters) people have exercised and so that makes me question taking that right away from them
