Lite <Azrael> leader is modifying major texture files of the EQ client to produce in-game changes and hacks.

He has never been punished for distributing the texture modification files to cheat with, and he plans to continue cheating (typical red99 dirtbag).
Yeah, that is not "rampant hacking" lol not to mention it was never confirmed that Lite was the modifier or the distributor considering the file came from a anon forum account. Sorry but a Whatsapp photo of him telling his friends that it was posted on the forums is not "rampant hacking" nor is it him distributing.

OK I wasn't sure what evidences had come out about Lite and the deeds of his ratmen. Nor was I aware of the extent of the client file modifications he was said to be involved with. I did see the Whatsapp document, but thought there had been new testimony evidence from one of Lite's former ratmen who had switched sides to <Empire> recently.

Just leveled out of 45 on my Ranger and the experience in 46 feels SO much faster lol. Can't wait for that penalty to be removed and see it fly even faster!

Default Balance issue

It's just purely theoretical, but with FFA, no level range restriction, will it not just be the people who have time to play 24/7 who will completely eradicate everybody else?

And what about people who choose to play together? Will a group of 6 friends be able to group up and dominate the server?

It is a temporary server...don't need to stress "balance issues" just enjoy the ride and beautiful chaos that is Discord. Its a unique experience. Try not to overthink or make this something it is not.

Anyway daddy 'gean said he was going to discuss rules and design of Discord more on the podcast. Stay tuned.

As it stands right now you can modify game files to change character models to bigger races for bigger hitboxes, create bridges to go over terrain, under terrain, etc.

This has never been addressed and Lite is the leading author of a massive game file exploit that is going on with red99.

False. This particular warm body just doesn't like that Lite 100-0'd him. Salty

Wouldn't a file integrity check take care of that kind of thing. It wouldn't mess with the client and could simply verify the checksum or whatever to make sure they don't hack the textures.

I'm working on my ranger right now. Not grinding exp really hard yet though.

I'm taking a page out of Leveloneundercon's book. On this char I decided to twink pretty heavily, but to leave one aspect of the char untwinked to give me something to work towards. I picked archery. I decided not to buy anything associated with archery.

So far I've gotten my fletching up to over 160 and made my very own Trueshot Longbow. This was a significant achievement for me because my first character ever on EQ was a Ranger that I abandoned after level 3 or so. *nerd alert* I kind of see myself as a ranger in every other MMO/RPG, but I've never played one past level 10 or so in Everquest. I still remember my third or fourth day in Everquest on my nubassed ranger with my brand new notebook sitting in front of me writing down the requirements of all of the quests around--pixie dust, orc hatchets. On the list was the Trueshot longbow. I've since done all of the other quests hundreds of times over, but never the bow.

It took me 4 combines, 1 at 120 skill, 2 at 140, and one at 160, to finally get my bow. It felt AWESOME. Making my own super duper long range arrows is no problem, but quivers are so far beyond my reach. Fortunately, i have some time before quiver haste goes in and a Fleeting Quiver becomes necessary. But working tailoring has given me more than enough to do while I wait for the exp penalty to come off.

Go rangers!
