How is need before greed any less greedy? It's essentially saying your needs are more important than everyone else.

If an item is droppable *anyone* can sell it to their own benefit.

You mistake me friend. I'm not shit talking, just putting things in perspective. I actually like the new Secrets, but we clearly disagree on this issue. If I try hard enough I can remember a few shaman I've recently helped farm torpor for. One guy was in Haggard Krew before it went to shit. Good peoples. I didn't even know these people at the time, just good ole casual fun group experiences. I know how difficult it can be to acquire it, and being that I genuinely enjoy helping others in this game, I didn't mind putting in the time and effort. To me, in game, small group experiences are the best part of playing Everquest. That doesn't remove the fact that claiming need on something with a group of randos is selfish. It's been hashed out a million times here and that's why the general consensus is greed with a group of randos.

I understand where ur coming from, but when you have an item drop thats worth some money everyone is going to want to roll on it or not regardless if its a upgrade or not. Only thing u could have really done is ask if u could have it since its a huge upgrade for you and the group would have to agree on it. Last time i checked is was for around 25-30k so i mean its a nice chunk of change. I myself wouldnt expect no one to just "give" me an item like that. Im sorry to hear about what happened to you but honestly getting mad about it makes no sense. A 30k drop everyone in ur group i going to roll on it regardless, other people need plat for alts/tradeskills whatever the case maybe, and endgame spells/upgrade items for other people are not cheap. Like i said only thing u could have done was ask the group nicely if you could have it.

A new player with a forum account from 2011? Also everyone playing a non 60 is always a new player and people never lie. I've seen people corpse fungi's all day and still haven't won a single roll for myself. It's just how it goes here classic or not.

It's the dumbest idea of all time.. I mean if you're rich and not a douche pass on something for new folks but fuck just giving 20k to some fuckn noob who probably pushes old ladies over to get a better seat at the movie theater for all you know, just cus they're new lol

This game is addictive they ain't going anywhere lol greed b4 need unless you're with pals, in which case I wouldn't be pals with anyone that would roll lawyer item drops.
