I was referring to the chatter on forums. The most avid Putinista fanboys are motivated by homo- and transphobia. And many in Russia support this for that reason. The Russian Orthodox Church, early in the war, justified the invasion by saying Russia was trying to save Kyiv from being invaded by Pride parades. Look it up.


So, probably getting towards 200k casualties. And a lot of people want Russia to win *solely* because of its stance on gays vs. the West's.
