I remember setting up some of these pugs (on Quellious) ~ we all started in those laughable chatrooms prior to the character selection, coordinating groups and-the-like. CR until the bus came for school in the morning... gawd

P.S. Same on my server (Bristlebane), although they weren't completely pick-up: they were non-guild affairs open to everyone, but they were semi-organized in advance (there was a lottery to run them).

I went on many vox/naggy pickup raids on The Nameless. Top guilds like Legacy of Steel left that shit alone.
