Project 1999 Red now has a 50% experience bonus from 1-60. In addition to this, for each group member, a 40% experience modifier will be added to all XP the group obtains. This means that with a full 6 member group, you will be provided a 290% bonus to all experience gained, 1-60.

Solo is 50%

Duo is 50%+40%+40%, each extra group member adding another 40%.

Kind of a huge difference. Room to close gap. Non-classic is non-classic.

I did most of my enchanters noob levels without any bonus with no gear, transfers or other.

Make friends or tough it out. Solo xp still amazing

Ench best solo class tho.

Hard to make many friends if you play when 50 people are online. People have a high chance of giving up that way.

I already stuck through it, I just love moar peoplez.

Farm up some starter shit for people, help them with ports and binds. Figure out common play times together, circle back to help people that fall a bit behind.

Personally, I think the starting zone area of the forum can be used to corral new players to red to figure out these things. No one looks there but they could start to. The community is what you make it.

Yea the first thing helps but its still pretty limited. A moderately twinked lowbie wiz is going to be making some terribad xp solo. Not even mentioning a rogue in banded with some 300pp weapons lol.

Public forum would not help, leduke 2.0 would be all over that.

ps. I mean when its 13:00 here, the server has 50 people on. /who all count 30 40 will often give a result of 2-3, its hard (impossible) to consistently get a group going under those conditions.

Could raise solo xp to 60% instead of 50%.

Would still be under half of duo xp, and then any duo will generally kill faster then a solo person would.

Also would be good event to announce on blue forums.

I think you have a real point when a lvl 30 melee in less than twink gear can't gear xp.

But..

I had this problem on blue rather often too. Sometimes its just hard to get groups. Gotta roll up your sleeves and figure something out. Hell, I took a bard and a bunch of melees in RAGS with me to quad the "impossible" raptors while duelist rogue groups hunted every zone while we were coming up. Unorthodox but extremely effective, if there's a will, there's a way.

Methinks there's a market for power leveling too which is very classic... there's definitely one for blue plat traded for red plat.

Again, its up to the community to help improve the box more. Going to the staff for changes should be the absolute last resort. A peek inside the petition queue and at the "to do" list for Velious and remaining mechanical/content fixes would solidify this for you I think.

Changing global xp shouldn't be that hard.

Velious is great, having 300+ on daily would be even better for Velious.
